so I just received my new z30 today and what can I say, I'm speechless, it's so sharp looking and sleek! I loved my z10 but my mom wanted a z10 and I wanted a z30 so it's a win win! the guy at best buy said drain the battery then leave it charge overnight and that'll do! so that's what I do, BlackBerry makes some sharp looking phones I may add, that's all, enjoy your weekend!

Congratulations on your purchase! I didn't know whether to get me a Z30 or a Q10. I picked the Q10 because of the keyboard but I've read several reviews that made me look back and think if I should have gotten a Z30 instead.

I have them both... If it is mostly emails, texts and phone calls are your thing... The Q10 is the right choice.. If you watch movies and games and such than the Z30 is your phone. The Z30 is BIG and if that is a factor the Q fits nice and easy in your pocket.. I am trying to decide for myself... I am leaning to the Q10 because of the size and keyboard

I have never experienced the Q10, but I can tell you the Z30 "REALLY ROCKS"!!! The Z30 is also very cool for emails, texts and phone calls having paratek to help with better phone reception, and the bigger screen, and CPU speed for fast, very fast texting. Now you can begin to enjoy the BEST BB10 phone available for now, and for awhile yet (imho) Congrats!

Assuming you mean Q10 versus Z30, yes.

Q10: 2100mAh
Z30: 2850mAh

I believe those are the correct numbers, but it doesn't always translate. You can have a light Q10 user get more out their battery than really heavy Z30 user. Either way, both phones have killer batteries.

It's called conditioning your battery and you should be completely draining it once and a while. Even with Lithium Ion.
