Hi all. Well I've only gone and done it.. honestly...
I'm a new owner of the z30, after being away from BB for nearly 9 years..

I've purchased one SIM free. If ok I will replace all my business handsets.. not many do don't get excited. Only 10 handsets..

Purchased from carphonewarehouse this morning.. the sales assistant told me that I will need a special BlackBerry connection to get the internet and email working and its a monthly cost.. honestly what are these sales people taught.

Had a coffee whilst setting up. Love the look and feel so far. Can't wait to use it in anger..

No doubt I will need support from you lovely bunch.. so expect some stupid and quite obvious questions. Treat me gently please..

First thing you could do is download the CB10 app and write on these forums with the amazing keyboard from now on!

The sale guy is misinformed because only previous BlackBerry running on OS7 needed this 'special connection'.

To be honest, totally honest..I wanted a change.
We have Audi cars and to work correctly I need rsap protocol on Bluetooth. I had to root android to get rsap working but even then it didn't work correctly and kept losing connections. Basically I found android good but messy. Messy meaning everything had to be tweaked to get it to just how you wanted it.
When my business was smaller, this was fine as it was a hobby messing around with gadgets.. now, I just need a platform that gives me out of the box functionality. BB gives me great message handling, great web browsing and without really searching, I've found 90% of the apps I need, the rest I can side load (once I've figured out how to do it).
