It should perform as well as it did on the Z10, possibly better due to the 4 cores on the graphic chip.

Netflix and Vine both work on Z30. But not instagram. Tried various BAR files and no luck. Both Netflix and Vine run very smoothly on the Z30.

I'm not going to side load Netflix but, I can view Netflix on my Zed10 using PlayOn.

I started thinking what movie I want to watch first on my 30 once I get it. It has to be epic to appreciate the screen size and, it has to have the greatest soundtrack I've heard. So, the choice was easy: Apocalypse Now.

I have PlayLater recording it to the solid state drive on my media server from Netflix right now. When I get my 30, I'll be able to watch it through the local Wi-Fi without concern over Internet delay.

P.S. My first movie choice was Baraka. However, it does not appear to be available on any streaming site PlayOn has.

Cool flick. Have you watched Samsara as well?

I can't imagine the Netflix sideload will run much different on the Z30 than the Z10. It's an old version that's kind glitch & laggy (navigation-wise).

I had friends over a few years ago and only told them we are going to watch a movie with no dialog. They were skeptical. By the end of Baraka they were transformed.

I'd like to think that happens to some people who give BB10 an honest chance.

BS, not possible. How did you get it to actually play back? The newest versions just sit at the loading screen forever after you select a movie and never start playing. Only the 1.8 beta posted on CB by Bla1ze works.

I just installed the pre-existing Netflix BAR this afternoon, and I am stunned at how well it works. The sound quality is unbelievable. No lag, whatsoever, either.

I installed using the Google Chrome Playbook App Manager extension. Quick, easy, and I was up and running in no time. Very impressed.

just wondering what method you used. i'm trying with newest unlocked runtime. and 1.8 netflix. it loads up netflix screen, then pauses with a blank screen for a min, then login info, put in email and pass, then hangs again and says timed out check user id or password. pretty sure it was working with unlocked runtime on my 10

Run the unlocked runtime 127.0.0.595 and it's shell and it will solve your instagram problem and yes vine and netflix and even youtube will work. Just gotta deal with the annoying black bar at the bottom
