Greetings. After a hiatus of a few years (my last BB was the clamshell 9670) and going through phones from every OS, I am back with a gorgeous white Z30. Great phone to get me back to BB, 10.2.1. I've installed Snap and am amazed at how well it runs Android apps.

However, coming from a previous Android that supported ISIS Wallet on NFC (I just swapped the SIM), I need help figuring out if this phone is compatible with the same form of payment. I know that it is NFC capable. I am on T-Mobile US but they only support a handful of ISIS compatible handsets. Getting the Z30 to work would be icing on the cake.

    Any insight would be appreciated.

Have you tried installing it from the Amazon App Store?

Thanks for the suggestion. Isis is unavailable on the Amazon App Store, nor is it available in Snap. I'm assuming I'll also need the T-Mobile version for it to have any chance of working... I went through the effort of opening an Amex Serve card for the sole purpose of NFC payments so I'm hoping to continue using it.

I don't think the Z30 is ISIS compatible.

Thanks for your input. Have you or anyone had any success with NFC payments on the Z30 in the US?

The ISIS android app will not work properly on the Z30.
I write to the developers of Proxima (they designed the actual app) and was told "future release".
Take it for what it's worth, another developer stating a future unknown date when it will work.
Maybe if enough people kindly request their application be supported on the Z30, they will create it?

Isis has said they will support BlackBerry 10. They have no release date only "hold on we're working in it".

They provide no additional information if you attempt to contact them.

I don't think T-Mobile will be supported even when the app comes out since T-Mobile doesn't support BlackBerry anymore. They also don't get Isis for iPhone.

Thanks everyone for your insight. Sad that I won't be able to use NFC unless I swap back to my android (yuck).
