My Z30 got as high to 39 C or 40 C. Is this normal? This happens when I'm turning my 3G on for YouTube or gaming. Sometimes when it's in my pocket with 3G on. Recently I'm using the EDGE and never get warm. Even these happened, my battery is still a beast, lasted more than 50 hours.

    Nope, probably not normal.

    Have you tried rebooting it?

Do you live in the city or in the country? If your signal is weak the radio can cause your phone to heat up though not as high as yours seem to be getting.

    Z30 and loving it!

with gaming? yes. In your pocket? no.

Anything that is CPU intensive gets my Z30 nice and warm. Streaming youtube or Mobile TV all get my Z30 to a raised temperature.

I live in the city but the signal here is not stable. I think that's the reason why.

I think this could happen. The new BaSA shows the current electrical power: about 1W normally (if screen is on), 2W in normal work, could be more if the processor really does something (and gaming does a lot). In several situations I already had the impression of having something in my hand that is warmer than my hand, without I really measured the temperature.

Unstable signal will cause your device to heat up as the radio is searching for signal.

What is the normal temperature? Over what Celsius is not normal? My z30 has a outterbox case, still can feel a little warmer than my hand when it's 37 C or above. Is this dangerous? Thanks for the help

Do this also affect to an unstable wifi connection?

This. Mine got up to a 103 degrees when it was searching for a signal. It also will drain the he11 out of the battery.

Best way to test that is to turn off your mobile network and leave your wife turned on. Then see if wifi connection improves.
