OK this is very odd I went to click on the CB app and my Z30 just rebooted. Never happened before. I know the Z10 was plagued with this issue in the earlier software versions although my Z10 never had it. Has anyone had this happen on their Z30?

Hope is an isolated event, just bought my Z30, waiting until november 5 to get it though.

It's running the stock OS from Telus 10.2.0.1443. I have Instagram and candy crush side loaded that's it?

Couple of reviews also said phone rebooted . BlackBerry blamed it on a bad model.

I had my z30 power itself off last night (did not restart itself). I had the music app open, paused a song, came back 20 min later and the phone was off. I restarted it and kept on with my usage. No problems over night but i left it a home today so we shall see when i get home. I'm on the Telus sta100-5 with the 1443, IG and Vine sideloaded

If either of your two get a reboot again, delete IG for a while and we can maybe test if it's that

Hmm I'm running Z30STA100-5/10.2.0.1443 and have Instagram, Snapchat and a bunch of other apps side loaded and zero problems.. no reboots etc.

Modern phones are like computers after all, they simply can also crash or reboot like their bigger counterparts. It happens to all devices for every plattform. My Q10 for example was absolutely fine all the time, until two or three weeks ago. Within two days, I had two random reboots - with the phone not doing much at all. Right after that, the phone behaved like usual. I don't know what caused it. As long as it doesn't happen on a frequent basis (daily or even multiple times a day) I wouldn't start bothering about it too much.

Had an inital reboot on 1443. Updated to 1767 fixed it.

I never said it was a good thing. I only suggested he shouldn't worry too much for now and keep an eye on the general phone behaviour. Stuff like this can simply happen and doesn't have to be caused by a bad phone per se.

Fair enough. I do think even a single random one is a cause for concern, though.
