3 days on my new z30 and I have mixed feelings. I am running 10.3.2.2226 (not leaked) and the phone stutters. Switching between app pages lags and games don't work as smoothly as even the z10. The display is really good though, exceeded expectations. I love the speakers. I still haven't experienced the really good microphone though. The phone charges slowly (maybe because it has a larger battery) and the battery life is not as good as expected! It's better than the z10, but not that good either. I really hope all my problems are due to the new OS and indexing stuff!

I would recommend doing an autoloader update may be it will help because the OTA update creates some problems as I have heard.

Perhaps try to wipe the device and see if it will run faster otherwise wait a few more days and see if the OS will settle down.

My Z30 last almost a day on my normal use so I don't know what kind of battery life you're expecting. If you need more, you should probably get a Passport.

Battery has settled and is amazing! The phone is snappier than the z10 but has the occasional stutter! Game play is just bad though

I don't really play games on my Z30 so I wouldn't know that. All I know is my Z30 is an excellent communication tool.

I don't know maybe it's your device I just ordered my z30 off amazon and it's the STA100-5 and I love it I have only one issue and that's the Camera but my battery life is crazy good. For example yesterday I was running around town and at 11pm I was at 60 percent the app manager said that could of gave me 1 day and 9hrs of use and my fianc� one plus one was at the same battery percentage and it said 5hrs. So I was happy to say blackberry battery won over hers and her batter was larger but one issue is the camera for me isn't that best the 8mp on the z10 was really nice on the z30 it's okay.

The Battery use became better the more I used my Z30.
The Z-30 for me was one of Blackberry's finest phones. The size, the sound capability, are just about right if you don't crave a "phablet" size phone. I've since moved on to the Passport but every once in while I fire the Z30 up for old time sake

So your battery life has improved but perhaps you still feel that it charges slowly? I use my PlayBook charger to charge my Z30. Takes about half the time. I've been doing that for the past year and a half and my problems. Get a PlayBook charger if you don't already have one.

OP, you say that games tend to stutter. I noticed this also. They ran flawlessly on 10.2 but since updating to 10.3 it has become quite a pain.

I'm still on 10.3.1 waiting for Vodafone UK to release 10.3.2 and was hoping this would fix the issue. Sadly, it seems not to be the case.

10.3.2 hasn�t been the cleanest OS iteration. Lots of phone app bugs and even now on 10.3.2.2339 has inherited some of the same issues of previous OS versions, which I find funny because that tells me they need to do a better job at merging their code.

That said, the Z30 is best BlackBerry I've owned to date. My battery lasts through the entire day even with heavy use and your not beating the speakers on this device.

I tried it and found that it charger in about half the time. I haven't looked back since. I still use my regular charger when I charge overnight and time isn't an issue.

BB officially sells what many of us know as the Playbook Charger as a Special (rapid) Charger for their phones (can't remember what they call it at this moment). You can sometimes find the Playbook charger really cheap.

They are really cheap on amazon. I've bought several for all my devices both BB and Android.
