I find that a bit of Media uncertainty.
The press release states:
"The BlackBerry Z30 smartphone will roll out from select carriers and retailers around the world beginning next week in the UK and Middle East, and all other regions going into the holiday season"

CTV has been spewing misinformation about RIM/BlackBerry for the past few years.
About 50% of what they report is correct.
They continue to pump up their Apple apps, daily during their broadcasting, but have yet to do anything for BB10.

I would guess the Z30 is already under US testing... just my thoughts, but I can't imagine them making a phone that is prime for the insane US market of big screens then going meh

Correct my crusty VW friend. I've confirmed VZW has it in testing right now. Hopefully they won't jack up the launch, like they did with the Z10.

What chaps my hide is this: I cannot find any press releases on the "big" news outlets (ABC, CNN) about the release of the Z30, but I sure can find plenty on the very sad layoff announcement.

If I weren't tethered to CB on a daily basis, I wouldn't know the Z30 had been released!

Guys i have Sprint and i know they were slow with the Q10 and didnt carry the Z10 but does anybody remember the reason they didnt carry the Z10? They were the first to say they were foregoing the Z10 for another touchscreen that was going to be released later in the Year! So Sprint was committed to the Z30 before we knew about it and they passed on the Z10 for this ! I want my Z30 sprint!

On the Canadian side of the fence..
The CBC started the day with the headline:
"BlackBerry released New Z30 smartphone"

but by the end of the date the headline was changed to

"BlackBerry could lay off 40% of staff, report says"

with the Z30 intro merged into to WSJ report.
