I'd suggest it. Works great and is only 29.99. Comes with the adaptor, remote and the unit and it's good to go! Works wired or wireless.

There's 2 different models, one is 79.99gbp and the one I purchased is on Amazon and in UK Pc World stores.

I use the netgear push2tv. It's not bad, I wish it'd connect a bit faster to my Q10.

But I have a more important question, can any of you play a video purchased in BlackBerry World through Miracast? All I get is a blank screen.

Can you use miracast to display programming from the Bell TV app? When I connect my Z10 via hdmi, the app stops playing and displays a message "This programming cannot be viewed on an external monitor. Disconnect the external monitor to continue viewing programming".

I have this one and it works very well and is cheaper than others.

Plus, it can switch modes and become a dlna adapter too.

I have tried a few this one is my favorite.

Ooohhh... I did not expect to read that. I'm not on Bell but I wonder if the same applies to other carrier based streaming services?

Bell TV won't let you use any external display, not even hardwired with HDMI.

The Panasonic DMP-MST60 died on me after three days. Just stopped working for some reason.

Luckily Future Shop did no questions swap for a replacement and I am back up and running.

The Miracast is slightly more flaky on Z30STA100-2/10.2.1.1055 though.

We have been using several of those over the last 5-6 months, with no hardware issues. Perhaps, and hopefully, it was just a bad unit. Many things can cause electronic to fail, electric issues main reason.

Also - we have Less issues on 10.2.1.1055 and Miracast than on any previous builds. Operations are more smooth.

Thankfully there are many Miracast receivers to choose from, and there will be more in months and years to come.

I for one, am very happy with the solution to do wireless presentations directly from my phone, where I can have a dual-screen solution - notes on the phone - and full screen presentation on the bigscreen and projector,... and not just a simple screen mirror thing from the past.

Yes, agreed, not saying it sucks at all.. In fact I quite like it. Just relaying is all.

    Is the Panasonic portable?

I'd like to be able to tote one around in my briefcase for those times I need to make an emergency presentation.

I would say yes. The box itself is maybe 15 cm x 15 cm.

Add for the HDMI cable and power supply (about the size of the PlayBook charger).

The P2TV3000 use a normal mini USB - and uses so little power that it can be powered by USB connector on the TV itself (if provided)

Correct, it does not have a battery and requires an outlet.

Can you stream video over miracast? The reason I ask is because I bought the mst60 and it is so laggy and choppy that it won't even play 2 seconds of the video. Desktop works ok. Music plays ok but choppy in parts. I'm using the Z30.
