    Help!?

I need to free up some space on my card and I can't find all this extra crap that the system says is on there. I have moved all pics, docs, etc to my device storage, the only thing I'm trying to keep on the card is music, what in the world is this 19gb of "other" data, I can't find anything!!!

Might be downloads... like temporary video streaming files.

Look over the card in the file manager.

Or, connect USB and do a search on the card for files over 1 Meg.

That drove me nuts too when I first saw it. I did find it somewhere, but can't recall now since I put it out of mind when I realized how tiny 19MB is.

Thanks for the tips guys, I am still unable to find what is causing so much memory to be used, and it's 19gb that's why I'm concerned if it was just 19mb I wouldn't care. I think I'm going to have to back up my music files and wipe the card and start it fresh.

Oh, yep...my bad...mine was like 19MB, so I didn't worry about it. Yeah, I would want to find 19MB for sure! I think mine was in documents I had downloaded. I had to set it to download to the SD card. But 19MB is a lot more than that.

Backup music and format card is the best idea.

Yeah, nevermind again...you are talking about your media card, not your device memory. Try poking around in your File Manager to find it.

Remove the SD card, pop it into a card reader, and hook it up to a PC.
Enable "Show hidden files and folders" within the PC's Explorer and then start inspecting the files and folders on the card.
It may be there is a file or folder hidden on the SD card that is considered a system file/folder by some app on the device and BB File Manager seems to not show those.
