Getting right to the fact about my z30 battery performance after the update. I feel like I have a Z10 all over again. I have to charge every night now cause she's not gonna make it through to tomorrow. On the old OS10.2.3 I had an incredible long lasting run. I could use it all day and sleep and not charge till middle of next day.

Now I know of people are saying I need to do a clean sweep and load the os alone but I don't know. What I do know is I feel like I'm using a z10 with battery life and it stinks. Went to a concert last night Van Halen and didn't dare go without a charge at 6pm.

Has anyone else using Verizon had the same issue? Have anyone cleaned steeped your phone and did it help? I hate to format my phone to see no difference.

I'm with a Z30 and also on VZW.
Yes the battery did suck after the update, but it settled down after about 3 or 4 days. I wasn't happy either. But now it seems like it is back to itself now.
Also, check and make sure you don't have any "renegade Andyroid" apps going crazy and eating battery/processor.

edit: were you using any leaked OS versions BEFORE the update was forced down your gullet? That may be an issue, and you may have to wipe and reload.
If you were on the original OS 10.2.xxx, and then the update, it should have settled/indexed by now since VZW pushed this out a few weeks ago...

I'm using my VZW Z10 and I noticed battery life improved after a few days. I'll use my Z30 for a couple of weeks and see how it goes.

I am using a Z30 on VZW and have had the exact opposite experience.

I really don't know what to expect. Some days I go to bed with 60+% left, other days it's 20%.

A couple of days ago I had the hotspot on for a few hours and I was under 20% by 8pm and needed a charge.

You might not remember, but the first time you setup Hotspot, it informs you that that feature uses a lot of battery.
