16gb is storage(disk space), not ram(=memory) not sure how many apps you'd put on to fill 16gb.

Not very many (less than 10) if were talking about good games like the gameloft ones: asphalt, nova, batman, modern combat, spiderman, real soccer etc. All of those are over 1gb, some of them close to 2gb

The astro will be 720p however there are multiple builds of this device, one may be 1080p
