    After Verizon and BlackBerry trouble shooted the issues, they determined the device's hardware to be faulty. They are now sending me a brand new one in a box from a different warehouse. Verizon was sending refurbs that probably had the LED hardware issue from day one.

    And they said if the issue persisted on the new replacement, then I could go into the store and pick out an equivalent priced phone as a replacement.

    I told them I sure hope the Z30 works, because it's better than what I can pick from...LOL

    I'd better not have to pay anything just getting the Z30 in mid January. What's a 1 year manuf warranty good for then? All problems were classified as such...

    Let's hear more about this major problem and thoughts on how VZW/BlackBerry are going to fix it. I'm on my 3rd replacement because of it. Frustrating!

    Well mine stopped flashing green. However, now it flashes red. This us my wifes phone so it doesn't bother me other than I hate stuff that doesn't work right. I have already wasted probably 5-8 hours messing with this phone. If I have to do that 2 more times to get a new phone then I'll have invested close to 20 hours on a damn phone. My labor rate is pretty steep so this phone has is becoming quiet expensive . For the time being I'm going to live with it. If and when decide I cant I'll return it under warranty.

    That whole dilemma sounds so frustrating! So sorry you had to go through this. I have a Verizon Z30 and it's great. Definitely hardware issues on the phones they sent you. Hope your new one is problem free.

    VZW screwed up the software so much on their Z30 refurbs you can't even autoload or sachesi a different OS on it...not to mention a security wipe doesn't even fully reset the phone?

    Hello kindred spirit; I experienced the exact same problems with Verizon. I am on my third Z30. While this one charges the battery past the 60% level, it has the blinking red LED. As it is the Easter weekend, I will wait until Monday to see if BB support can help. If not, I will ask for my 4th Z30.

    The first was new and had problems with the earpiece. The second refurbished one would not charge past 60% and the third refurbished one blinks constantly.

    A man loves his BB but there is a limit as to what I can endure.
