I had an app on my 9860 called "leave it on", it was an app that allowed you to set which open/active apps would not allow the 9860 screen to dim or lock.
I would like a similar app for the z30 so that i can set a particular app and the screen stays on and unlocked when that app is open/active. Anyone seen something like that?

I'm sure it exists but have to ask why you'd want to drain your battery in that manner?

In certain cases I miss an app like that too. I do some music in my show using my Z30, so I would love for the screen not to fade out after a max time (in settings) of 5 minutes.

My Kindle app on the other hand stays on all the time, so I guess that functionality is built into it.

I like to leave The Score on my 9860 while it is plugged in so i catch updates. But my z30 shuts off the screen and password locks if I'm not refreshing the screen.

I have this app and it does work. It works in a little bit of a different way than Leave it on did, but it still does the same job. for instance, instead of assigning certain apps to be opened for a certain time, this app just leaves the screen on for a determined amount of time, regardless of what apps are opened. I hope that makes some sense to you.

I would love to make Leave It On for BB10, unfortunately the right APIs that I need to do it aren't there right now. Leave It On was my most popular app from the BBOS days, it would be awesome to be able to do it all over again on the new platform...hopefully one day

Yup, makes sense. I installed it and it worked in keeping the screen on but the workspace did lock, i guess i cannot have everything!
