Just got the BlackBerry flip case today and am very impressed by it. It has a professional look and feel to it. I was a bit worried about the typing experience with this on but it actually makes it easier to hold. I love how you just flip it shut and the magnet shuts the screen off. Haven't tried a phone call yet but if you flip the cover around behind the phone I'm sure it will be fine. One thing I noticed though is when I pressed the top button on the phone it stuck in. I had to take the cover back off and gently scrape the opening half a hair thickness bigger and it works fine npw. Best case I have bought so far for any phone.(pocket pouch is a close second)
Hadn't noticed that problem with the button myself. I've found myself liking the flip cover way more than I expected to, and I hardly ever change it out now. I've had mine for a couple of months now and it's worn very well.
I like to think of my Z30 as my "little black book" now.
You can actually make calls with the cover closed.
Just make sure you go to phone settings.
You can set it to pick up as soon as you flip it open (same as getting it out of a holster)
Just make sure to NOT set it to hang up as soon as you close, both because accidents happen, and you don't want to hang up by accident, but also because you can continue talking with the cover closed.
Ot has cut outs for the speaker and the microphone. I've done it before, and it's pretty cool.
