    Put 10.3.1 yes but put the latest leaked version. Most of the carrier OTA's seem to be causing issues on certain Z30 models. STA100-5 seem to be operating the best while STA100-2 seem to be sucking it up after taking updates.

    No proof of course, as its just what I've noticed from reading multiple CB threads over the last few weeks.

    Oh. . Ok. . I thought all these problems people are having is 10.3.1 in general and I should wait it's fixed, but you're saying it's the carrier's ota that's been suspect? . .

    That is the suspect. It's pretty safe to assume BlackBerry will be releasing a fix for the carriers shortly but no ETA

    My problem with BB's Password keeper was that there were no complementary modules for my computer or Tablet. Obviously, it was quite secure with its own password and your passwords were always in one place and you did not have to sync or remember to sync.

    Initially, I had Datavault but moved to Enpass more recently. I think I preferred Datavault's interface but decided to try something different.

    (and since you did have initial setup problems, I'd tax the phone a bit just to make sure it continues to run okay)

    There is a case thread. Someone posted a nice leather one the other day and it seemed to be still available. I got which is a fabric covered one. The odd name (starts with g) escapes me at the moment.

    I'm using password keeper and I have a this TPU case on my Z30.

    The case is great but you do have to make some modification for it as the manufacturer forgot to put side mic hole for the noise cancellation mics. Nothing a small drill bit and 30 seconds of your time can't handle!

    Just an update if anyone cares . . loaded the latest 10.3.1 leak and everything works fantastic! On a business trip yesterday and today and the BB maps navigation did a masterful job getting me to and from unknown destinations. I was worried because I saw that my return trip lanes were jam packed, but when I reversed directions to come home it re-routed for traffic and got me back on side-streets with no issues; almost like having a "local" with me who knew all the shortcuts.

    Screen isn't as bright as my z10, but I only notice when they're side by side. Loving the screen size, but I have to say even though its the same size as my Moto Droid Maxx the Maxx is more comfortable to hold in hand due to a gentle curve/slope on the back towards the sides . . but I'll adjust, I couldn't trade this excellent OS for just in hand feel. I ordered a transform case because it looks like it has protection for corners and keeps the screen off the table for my favorite feature (face down puts phone in low power stand by - love it!) while not really increasing the grip width of the phone because of the cut outs on the sides. I like the looks of Carmels case above, will check it out too.

    Oh and btw, I know this is a ymmv topic too, but whats your experience with screen protectors? I assume the BB brand is fine, but I know there are many others; I saw a tempered glass one but just wasn't sure because it was alot less than "normal" for a product like that. Opinions?

    That's good to hear . . I don't prefer them myself but I thought I read somewhere where someone said they thought the z30 screen scratched easily and/or was not gorilla glass.

    I'm not sure if it is or not. I keep mine in my left front pants pocket with no change or keys and mine is not scratched at all.

    This is so true haha I'm one of those people! It's very important having a clean wipe when you want the least amount of issues
