I'm not sure what version it is. I'm on AT&T and looked at the specs which matched the -5 model, 4G. I'll miss LTE but also carry a cellular LTE tablet with me so no big loss.

Open box? No clue. Figured it was worth the risk for the money. It something is bad, they have a return policy. Not real worried about it.

Open box likely means it was returned by someone for a full refund for whatever reason. It's the 100-5 model, the same one BlackBerry is selling on shop BlackBerry. Black only and apparently they still have some available. Great price depending on the condition

Phone arrived today. Everything looks perfect BUT it is a STA100-2.

I was obviously hoping for a STA100-5 to try to get LTE in Seattle. 4G comes in strong.

So the question is...does anyone have a -5 in Seattle and do they get LTE???? I have tried to read the threads and find out but haven't determined if LTE works on the -5 in the Seattle Tacoma area.

So, please reply of you happen to know either way and I'll leave this phone in the box while I wait!

Who's your carrier? I have an STA100-5 that runs great on T-Mo's 4G LTE network here in Houston.
