I think mine must be defective cause I rarely last a day. I was thinking at first it might be because of Android apps running in the background. But even after disabling all of them I still lose battery like crazy.

You can disable access to things such as location to android apps (saves me a lot of battery especially with the movie box app)

Also make use of disabling apps running in the background and when minimised through blackberry app settings

Try turning your screen down as much as possible, use wifi when avalible and only use the radios you require, for example

Make sure all apps are up to date & Uninstall apps you don't really need too, hopefully your battery life will improve, if not seek to get a new battery

My Z30 barely lasts a day. I'm pretty disappointed by the battery life.
I never had to worry about the battery life on my LG G2 as it would always easily carry me through the day.

I have been using the Z30 since it has been available. With my type of light usage the battery can last me about 18 to 24 hours average. In the background I have 5 email addresses going along with a number of programs. Usage where heavy amounts of data is moving through the phone, and with screen usage is what runs down the battery faster. When I am doing a lot of email composing, reading, and we browsing the battery can go down faster. When I listen to music in addition to my regular type of active phone work the battery may not last the full day for me.

If the phone has one or two email addresses set up with low activity, and is in standby mode most of the time, and is used for simply receiving and making a small number of short length calls the battery would probably go for about two days.

Active GPS type programs where the map updates are streaming in from the network are big battery power suckers. If the phone GPS is to be used for any length of time it is best to use an external power source. Listening to music and especially viewing videos will run down the battery fairly quick compared to normal use.

Mine had 2.5 days of life back in 10.2. But now I get almost 2 days. If I didn't run any games. If I run any intensive games I can kill it in an hour or 2. Also weak cell service signal has a toll on battery life.
Also it stays mostly room temp unless gaming or charging.
