    Just got my Z30! Buttery smooth, Vivid colours! faster than anything I have tried! Anyone here tried it? What's your experience?

    Just curious how can it be more vivid than the Z10 when it uses the same screen just bigger, hence a lower ppi.

    Precisely ,perhaps the size of the screen? Snapdragon S4 Pro Processor ,Super Amoled screen 1280 720 resolution, 295 ppi ,24 bit colour! Quad core Adeno 320 GPU, I don't know but all I can say is WOW

    The display panel type is more than likely not a reason why a device would seem "faster". It should be noted that the Z30 does have a faster processor, AFAIK. Just not a quad core that people were speculating and hoping for.

    I don't believe the Z10 is IPS. It's just a regular LCD. But the Z30 is AMOLED and definitely that is the contrasting difference the OP is talking about.

    EDIT: I stand corrected by masque2. The Z10 is indeed IPS.

    The Z30 is significantly faster in terms of CPU power compared to the Z10. It's a newer generation processor which in itself brings faster performance clock-to-clock, and it's also clocked higher at 1.7Ghz (compared to 1.5Ghz). Many benchmarks show speed improvements of 30%, with some showing significantly higher results.

    The GPU has also been beefed up, with a quad core GFX unit on board. This will aide the buttery smooth feeling and take some load off the processor when running multiple GFX-intensive apps.

    This, combined with subtle refinements in OS 10.2 makes for a very fast, very smooth product.

    From what I gather, it seems the biggest improvement over the Z10 is the damn battery life! Damn that tiny Z10 battery!
