trying to update to 10.2.1 on the z30 through sachesi got me all messed up. i ended up using an autoloader and updating to 10.2.1 leak and then restoring from link.
seems ok so far.

I decided to install the latest leak for my Verizon Z30. I don't know what I had waited for. So far, knock on wood, I've had no problems. Plus, I now am sporting the official Chase bank app thanks to Snap and Crackberry instructions!

tested most things, including setting up work (enterprise) account on bes 10.1.3. Great so far. very smooth and snappy. I installed the 10.2.1.1925 autoloader leak. MMS issue is gone. using verizon wireless.

I just had what I believe was a genuinely honest conversation with a Tier-2 Technical Support Rep. at Verizon Wireless. I asked when we Q10 customers are likely to see an official OS update, and explained that there are rumours and misinformation everywhere about this. She told me that she doesn't ever have access to that kind of information, and that it's above her paygrade to even be able to contact those who do have it. She could only tell me what I already knew - that the Z10 was updated in January, and that the last update for the Q10 was last August. Basically her department finds out about update approvals at the same time the customers do, and she saw nothing on her schedule to indicate anything was being offered today.

Since I was not permitted to talk to anyone higher up, I asked if she could please relay my customer wishes to those who are doing the testing. I also told her that the more time that passes, the less functionality I have on my phone; the latest update includes new features, including security features, which I cannot use, and more new apps are created which I cannot install. I also stressed that there are a LOT of us who have been waiting for this, and it would help if someone would contact Blackberry in an official capacity, and provide a timeline we can believe.

She agreed to pass my information along, and apologised for not being able to give me further information. It was a very civil and cordial conversation, and I felt she was being honest when she said she doesn't see the updates being rolled out until they have been announced to everyone.

(Apologies for cross-posting, but there are so many threads about this, that I thought to reach as many VZW customers as possible.)

Did you use autoloader or sachesi to upgrade yours?

Autoloader.

Pushing BlackBerry updates to customers is just not a priority for Verizon for whatever reason.

I have tried the leak but there is the MMS issue with it on Verizon. I need to official release.

MMS issue is from an old OS. I'm using Z30STA100-3/10.2.1.1925 and MMS issues are gone

All devices - but for Q10, no Z30 until I get my tax return.

The official is the the same as that version of the leak. And it is still a long way to go in Feb. Complain in March.

"Leak", unofficial release... same thing... the version numbers are the same so what Verizon pushed for the Z10s is the same you can find on here with an autoloader.

What about radios? Which one is better? I saw people having issues with latest radio and then not be able to go back down to older one, and then there are reports with no issues with latest radio, so there is definitely some hardware issues, otherwise there would be only one Z30, right? There are 5 different models and they all use same leak? That's strange to me..

The autoloader on this forum comes with 1899 radio and the one on UMG forums comes with 1926 radio.
What is the radio that people are getting with official release on unlocked Z30's?

im surprised to hear this. in chicago, i had a brand new VZ z10, no sim card, and the update was available.
so i suggest you guys take out your sim-card, reboot, and try to search for the update...

VZ Z10 update was pushed back in January.
They did a "good job" (I guess? before pulling it.. I don't know if it is even back on now?) with Z10 rollout, but this time they are killing us Z30 owners.

Just ordered a Z30 yesterday and assumed it would come with 10.2.1 already on it. I'm disappointed to discover that it won't and there is no official word as to when or if it will be released for the Z30. I would assume that it's a matter of when and not if...

I had to get a new Z10 last week. (operator stupidity). when I turned it on it said I had an update (Official 1925). the only difference I noticed from the official to the leak is that you cannot upgrade the radio on the official OS. (1926 vs. 1899) it will brick your phone.

Yeah for those getting a new Z30 like I did this past week before you even get started setting things up just load the autoloader and then get started...save yourself the hassle later in. Two nights ago loaded the. 1926 radio and it has been perfect

So you used the autoloader 1925+1926 radio bundle from UMG forums or did you go with Lengend's 1925+1899 and then updated to 1926 radio?
Having bunch of different versions makes me feel uneasy about this whole leak thing. What if someone modifies some files and nobody knows about it?

I just loaded the 10.2.1 leak today. Z30 is working fine and so much smoother than before (if that's even possible lol). I put some Android launchers on here just to "show off" to the corn balls who don't respect BB10 lol. U won't b disappointed with the leak. If u have the know how just go that route, don't wait.
