I have to say, I was very angry when I saw both the Z10 and Q10 hardware. It was embarrassing because you had the HTC One come out maybe a few weeks before and that got me really excited & curious about what cool design BlackBerry was going to use for the final product. Once I saw the Z10, I felt extremely let down. I'll leave it at that..

Anyway, I bought the Z10 solely for the reason that it was the new device and that's it, I didn't love it at all.(prior to getting it. I learned that love it,like with all things..)

Now that I see the Z30, it actually looks kind of hot with that silver trim going around the sides. It's a shame that the BlackBerry.Com press media-gallery doesn't have a good semi-rotated view where you can see them going up the side of the device.

And maybe it's the marketing, or maybe it's that they actually, finally, innovated on their old stagnant ways.. but I think there's a lot to love about it. The new speakers and mics are getting me excited..the screen is huge.. the processor is upgraded... and the battery shouldn't be too bad.. that's a lot to get excited about, for me.

While I don't think it's as big as a leep as they should of taken. I will buy this phone because I actually am excited about it, not just because it's the new BlackBerry.

I think the Z10 'early adopters' got suckered ... (to save their pride they will deny this strenuously lol) ... but the Z30 looks decent. Just a shame it's like 200 too expensive.

Hehehehehehe......I must admit I saw the title of your thread and the first thing I thought was "Well I'm attracted to Hugh Laurie but nothing will ever come of that..."

Anyhoo.....it is a beautiful device. I must admit I'm liking the white version.

I have never felt suckered in with the Z10. That baby does satisfy most of my professional and social needs. Absolutely no regrets!!
PS: I'm already sold on the Z30.

It's not actually the faster processor or larger display that got me into the Z30. It's the new antenna technology that promised it won't eat your battery out by not constantly trying to connect to the network every 5 seconds, and the vast battery capacity. It's a whole new experience. I'm just quite hesitant due to the display's sheer size.

What is wrong with z10? I bought it day one. Now i am running 10.2 on it and it works great. Having said that I would not mind z30 at all.

Everyone is not going to love everything about everything. People are just never satisfied no matter what the case is. Everyone chooses what works best for them. I personally can not wait for this device, no matter what the end outcome may or may not be. It's going be be a huge upgrade compared to my 9850, although that is still running like a champ, after my two years with it. So for me, this is why I purposely waited and decided not to go for the Z10 when it was released. Verizon better have this out, and not a week before Christmas! This better come sometime in November

? I've never felt suckered by the Z10.

But of course, anyone who has the audacity to disagree with you MUST be a fanboy right?

Nice way to cop out so you don't have to actually present any argument to back up your unsupported claims.

    How old are you anyway?

By calling them Z10 early adopters you just undercut your own argument. Early adopters, by definition, know that they are the first to take the leap and are prepared for problems. They're also most likely to be aware that they are paying a premium for being the first in line and don't mind. It's a gamble, just like anything.

On the other hand, I agree that the Z30 is overpriced given BlackBerry's position at the moment.

You could try putting it up on eBay. There's a post from Mister Sir about how he just got $300 for his Z10...

ok control yourself... what's not to like about the z30. it's almost perfect, right.! well suited for gestures bec.of its bigger screen. Design is sturdy and looks professional and good enough to compete. In my opinion, this Device should came first before the Q10, then z10 came third. Anyway, I will pick this 10x over iphone and Android.

My only regret with my Z10 is that I bought it in a premium price... when, a few months later, the price is dramatically reduced, OS is vastly improved and I've learned its variant versions... same thing will probably happen to Z30...
