only Verizon hardware units have it. Not too sure why but yes only Verizon branded ones have that hardware.

I wish BlackBerry would release the Z30 with wireless charging.

Verizon probably pushed them to make it with wireless charging hence why it's not available on all devices. But given that it's available on at least one of their models, I don't understand why they didn't make it available on all models.

I also don't understand why they went away with the charging contacts. That was my absolute favourite feature of my Curve 8900.

Charging contacts are a great idea.

I wonder how long the micro USB ports will last. Hopefully it was just a PlayBook issue, but so many PB USB ports went and fortunately there are the rapid charging points to use.

Seriously. Wow. This phone is just....wow. I haven't this impressed by a phone since the iPhone 4 but dayummm the Z30 is definitely one of the best phones out there, bar non. My dad messed around with my phone for only a few minutes before deciding to ditch his Samsung galaxy android phone. Now he wants one too! Funny enough, I got my mom a bold as her first phone and when she graduates from that phone I will get her a Q10 :P Now I almost have my whole family on BlackBerry phones!

Anywho, I am thinking of getting by dad a Z10 to start things off. Anyone know the BBEP for the Z10?

Battery % seems to drain faster than I expected so far, but let's see how it goes.

One thing that puts me on my toes is that it's got a function of 'Remote Log Collection' under Security and Privacy.

First time seeing this option on any bb10. I turned off remote log collection option but is this something I should be worried about?

With regards to the remote data collection, it pertains to anonymous data reports regarding crashes and such. I wouldn't worry too much about it. You should turn it off anyway as if can contribute to battery drain.

Give us your impressions when you manage to put the phone down for a second haha. I'm still playing with mine constantly!

I even threatened to go to VZ but since they are not a direct competitor they didn't really care much. They offered me Z10 and he even said "we dont have any record of blackberry 330" sighhhhhhhh. Serenity now!

Are there any possibilites for me as I live in Czech Republic (central Europe, next to the Germany, yes that small nothing...) to buy a Z30 from your buddy in Blackberry? To be honest, the prices here are terribly high. Z30 starts from 780USD so I would be pleased if there was an alternative for this.

Even I'll try to order from Amazon (starting price 620USD) or abroad seller, the taxes will increase the price by 22% and then another increase for shipping and delivery itself.... so we are back at 780USD.

White z30 will be available for employee purchases near the end of the month. Mine was made in Mexico I think.
