I want to reset my Z30 but getting the message "Cannot connect to Blackberry id Server" How do I check if it is down?

Its not down. How are you trying to reset your Z30?

Settings/Security and Privacy/Security Wipe

I then enter my Blackberry id, it does not recognise my password ( it just stalls and does nothing.

I select "Forgot your password" and that is when I get "Cannot connect to Blackberry id Server"

I do not have a sim card, does that make a difference ?

I found the problem !!!! I was not on wifi !!! Duh !!!!!!!!!!! Jeez I hate getting old
