All music and photos go to a memory card. I have deleted almost all my apps. I can't find "user files" anywhere in my phone. Can someone help? or am I looking at a factory reset and starting from fresh?

user files are found on the device memory. have you installed any android apps before? they leave tons of crap in the misc folder on the device memory. better to back up, reload an OS using the autoloader method and then set up the phone from scratch.
youp.
you can go to files manager -> device memory -> select each folder, tap and hold - in the menu select "properties".
it will display the size of that folder (when it will calculate it ).
What happens if you just delete the files from the Misc folder?
CAREFUL!!!!
WARNING!!!!
The MISC folder contains special references to your other files, like pictures, music, video, documents. This enables Android apps to find and use them. BUT if you erase what appear to be Duplicates you will in fact be erasing the real files and could lose your photos, music, etc. They are "symbolic" or mirrored files but, again, if deleted, delete the original in the non-misc folders.
So use care when deleting files in the Misc folder.
I have deleted folders in the MISC folder several times.
I delete the folders in the Android folder of the misc folder
All it does is you lose your Android apps settings

User files include those files that are saved automatically from some apps. An example will be your Voice file. Please check your Voice folder in your device. It has the potential of consuming Gigabytes of space.
