Depends on the cell provider you use.

I've the same problem, but it's a carrier issue. LTE coverage sucks a$$ on Rogers in Saskatchewan, but is great in Alberta, BC and other Provinces. They're just too f'ing cheap a$$ in Saskatchewan to put up enough towers to do the job.

    Rock'n the awesome Z30 STA100-5 on 10.3.2.2168

LTE with a STA100-5 on the AT&T network is hit-or-miss.
A Z30 was never made specifically for the AT&T network, as such all of the models of a Z30 do not have "every" band and frequency AT&T uses on their network.
The ST100-5 is the one best suited for AT&T, as it has most but not all bands/frequencies used by AT&T.
This leads to spotty coverage as AT&T's LTE coverage is not uniform in the frequencies used, as in not every cell tower is setup on the same frequencies.
