I have owned it almost 2 years and usually I retire phones after 12 months at the latest. It still does the trick. The haptic is great and battery life is awesome after 24 months. Great phone. The last time I used a phone that long was back in 2009/2010 when I bought a HTC HD2 the first day it was available in Europe. And I pretty soon ran Android on it.
I hope the BlackBerry Priv is a worthy successor. I have no idea which other phone I would buy. Sony Z5?

I'm looking at the coming lumia 950 xl. But I think I'll keep my Z30 for a while both BlackBerry and windows phone are at a transition. So unless you really want a slider or anything BlackBerry there's no rush - And Even then you'll have to wait.

If the Priv doesn't float your boat you may want to wait till March. Rumors are that another device will launch when 10.3.3 drops March 2016. Who knows?

If you don't like the Priv, find a different Android flagship. There are no rumours of any further BB10 phones. If Priv is successful, next phone will be another Android flagship type phone or mid-level Android type phone. If Priv is unsuccessful, then hardware is done.
