I noticed that the hub sometimes freezes out of nowhere and just showing a black screen. The only way out of this was to restart, i have opened a bbm conversation in the hub and black screen shows, 2nd time that this happened today. Another instance was, bbm screen wont close in the hub..

I had this happen too. I have also had the weird thing happen when the keyboard will come up but not type anything. I'm on the official Verizon software

yes I can confirm the hub goes blank sometimes.
using Z30 Sta100-2
BlackBerry 10.2.1.2102

Also Facebook notification appear only when I open the app.

I get a similar problem.

Every now and then when I open message "a" it will open a completely different message "b" . Then I'll back out, select another message "c" and I'll get taken back to message "b" .

Also the keyboard will come up but I won't be able to type.

Ive tried to restart the hub, but the only thing that works is to restart the phone.


I had this same problem with my z10. So it's definitely a software issue.

Did you try to reset the hub? In the hub swipe diagonally from top right corner (start on the black area of your screen) to the center of the screen 4-5 times and it should re-initialize it.
