Well, I finally bit the bullet...after near 8 years on bbry and all the time with a qwerty keybrd...I was always a bit leary of going to a touch phone.

Let me tell ya...this Z30 is just unbelievable.! I actually type faster on it than I ever did on my Q10 or 9900...the Predictive text rates a 10, as does the Paratek antenna. Have gotten signal flying from Calgary to Edmonton at 25,000 ft..text/bbm/e-mail...and the speakers are better than what is in my PB. All in all... WOW.!

....except this AM I dropped it (still waiting for otterbox in mail from e-bay), about 18" and now screen is unresponsive...bummer. So back to using my QX till I get home on days off...(suggestions are most welcome if anyone knows something I don't about this particular issue..???)

I've had 2 z30s in 6 months. my first one spent the night in a glass of wine. so I had to go buy another one the next day. a white unlocked z30 from shopblackberry. com is what I'm rocking now

if took my z30 that spent the night in a glass of wine to a phone repair guy. unfortunately he couldn't repair it. but he did mention that he had never seen a phone of this build quality before. he meant that in a good way, compared to the iPhone and Android phones out there.

Sold my z10 to my daughter to buy the z30. Miss the size for txting on, but no longer use my PlayBook. Z30 is the best crossover device. Looked at the new iPhone specs and ticked them all as features I already have on my z30. <3 my phone. Thanks blackberry

I bit the bullet in got my Z30 in January, giving up my BlackBerry Bold 9930 (I had the BlackBerry tour before that). I love it. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about with the new IPhone, I've had all the "new" features on my Z30 all along.

I also don't use my laptop or tablet anymore (have a desktop in my office) my Z30 is way easier to use.
The predictive key board is one of my favorite features but now I find myself trying to type and flick on my regular computer keyboards - I'm much faster on my trusty Z30!
I also like having the choice of using the desktop or mobile view on my browser.

I just bought new unlocked sta-5 z30 as I'm with at&t, from a Canadian seller on ebay and I can't wait for it to get here.
I was on the fence about switching to another brand but then I came to my senses. I have my q10 listed on ebay for sale and I might be putting my z10 on also after I get my new 30

I've had mine 11 days and it is simply amazing. I pulled out my Z10 last night and couldn't believe how quickly I've become accustomed to the Z30's bigger screen. Battery life is through the roof, the larger keyboard much easier to type on and using Miracast now and again on my LG Smart TV. An added bonus was the included headphones. First in ear one's I've ever owned that stay in my ears while exercising, eating or whatever. I was trying to find a nice gel case for it but was not having much luck. Ended up ordering a Fosman from Amazon and it should be here next week. On a whim I stopped into a Telus store to see what they had and the guy said he might have a case in the back. Brought out the BB gel case (last one they had) and it was 75% off, paid $5.00 for it.

I've had mine for about 3 weeks now and I'm pretty happy with it. I don't think I'll be switching any time soon unless the Classic has some awesome specs.

Just got my new Z30 today after a very long internal debate as to whether I should upgrade from my 15 month old Z10 which has done me proud service.

I have to say I'm delighted with the device so far. What had me sitting on the fence for so long was the increased size in comparison to the Z10. I had always felt that the Z10 was the perfect size for me and my small hands. A few years ago I had a fling with a Nexus 4 and found that to be too big so I thought the Z30 might be like wise. How wrong was I....

It's such a pleasure to type on and viewing any on screen content is so much easier with the bigger screen. I have yet to carry it in my pocket out and about but I don't foresee any issues there at all. I got the OEM flip case rather than the leather pouch which I had for Z10.

Overall I'm very happy so far.
