My prediction is about half of the number of z10 that were sold. People won't buy this that are not already blackberry supporters. The company is on the rocks and nobody wants to jump into that scenario on a two year contract.

I agree. They will sell very well. Its the size a consumer wants. Add the prosumers and corporate and it's the party that will never end.!!!!

The Z30 will push BlackBerry back up to higher ranking for sure!
I have the Z10 since April and reckon the Z30 with 10.2 must be one hell of a device!
What BlackBerry MUST do is market the hell out of it! They must exploit the early release in UK and Asia by means of showing off the device. The marketing team need to pull finger from a## and get hyped on advertising.
It's no good complaining that the Z10 sales performance was lower than expected because of poor advertising just to do the same with the Z30! In the UK there was very little adverts showing the Z10.
There can't be room for error with the Z30. It has to be marketed like the companies survival depends on it!
There are a couple of 'native' apps that BlackBerry should have made such as example a Google +/gmail app as a vast amount of people are in need of this. Additionally Docs to Go or Adobe should have also had a feature that will create pdf as a lot of people rely on pdf these days as they want to create pdf on the device and on the go.

    15,000 units that's all.
Edit...with 16,000 returned within the week. And 3 million to write down.

    Smart, so smart.

Docs to Go isnt all that and a bag of chips anymore. PDF is not a proprietary format that is exclusive to Adobe anymore. Nuance has much better readers and software that handle PDF but docs to go doesn't do a bad job , but I have wonder what Nuance could do in our phones. Nuance makes PDF control and editing look like childs play compared to anything else.

BlackBerry effed up the release on the Z10 and Q10 so badly. Who will buy knowing they will cut prices . It has to be released with a low introductory price that goes up with sales. Marketing seems so amateurish.

On a more serious note, I think this is better off answered after what they announce at Berry Jam Asia (if they announce anything of significance that is). I've seen too many people first hand walk away from the phone, strictly because of the company's current mess of a situation.

You seem to forget that alot of people aren't upgrade eligible right now which is a good part of blackberry's problem as well.

Im a huge fan but if I was to upgrade from BB10 and z10 I wouldnt just get a bigger screen whats the point IMO I would rather go to android.

Blackberry is dying and the Z30 isnt the answer personally.

Apple has a market demand advantage that allows them to force carries to offer early upgrades without penalties that other models will have. Even when a Rogers customer bought the "old iPhone" a few weeks earlier they could upgrade with no penalty. Let me give the disclaimer I have not worked for Rogers for two years and have not verified it is still happening.
