I use my Z30 very heavily... i use it all the time and i have to charge it twice daily. Iam planning to reduce my usage. How do you suggest i should use my phone and what all can i do to actually reach the two day battery that it pronmises.

It's up to you to decide what activities you wish to continue, or curb. I don't think it's possible to get two days use out of a Z30, nor that it was ever claimed. There are so many factors that affect battery life, such as OS, signal, apps used, headless app activities, screen brightness, etc. One thing to also consider is the age of your battery. Chances are it's in need of replacement. Because of how I used my Z30, I rarely saw more than 12hrs battery life, even with moderate use when new. I kept a power pack handy, along with charger, and charged up whenever convenient.

Definitely your battery is degraded. If that's the way it was new then you've got some power sucking apps. If it's the battery you can replace it with a few simple tools (torx wrenches) that you could buy cheaply on eBay along with a replacement battery. I replaced mine and restored life but then went on to a Dtek.

It's probably easier to just buy a new Z30, look on Amazon, I've seen them new for less than $200. A new battery and time is probably at least $100. Or go DTEK60

A new battery is <$20USD, and even a novice could probably do it in about an hour.

I think it's not manufacturer date but 'boxing' date, BlackBerry only run once or two production

Forgot they didn't put a date on the sticker. Doesn't Sachesi show a date?

Either way, I imagine any Z30 would have to be at least 2 years old, probably 3.

    Yep, over 3 years old.

Lithium-ion batteries age. They only last two to three years, even if they are sitting on a shelf unused.

Turn off stuff when not in use Bluetooth wifi gps all drain battery when in use or not. Turn brightness down when not needed so bright. Use battery saver mode when you can if you know you want be able to charge for awhile. My average battery life is all day. I charge on a slow plug in charger overnight while sleeping. I could go a day in a half but then I need to charge during the day. So that's why I charge every night even if it is still going

Nah ! Specially when you are heavy user.
But still phone battery lasts up to 36 hrs when used moderately.
You simply skipped about Heavy Use. Is it Call ? Browsing ? Be clear Please.

I didn't know the battery was only $20.00 bucks. Now I would say replace the battery. Mine goes for about 36 hrs with moderate use, still going strong.

I love my Z30 and hopefully it does not come to having to replace it. But, if I did, I think I would opt to try the next phone up and get the SE Passport.

It would be easier to judge, if you posted a screen from device manager, after a full battery's use.

With all that heavy duty usage, it is what it is. I don't think there is anything on the market today that would last all day.

    You're getting more than 12hrs.

I would definitely turn the brightness down, and browser always tears up battery, which should probably be replaced.

    Edit - Here's ripping battery on a Z30:
