I think this phone is a beast when it comes to battery life, haven't found one that can really compete in the same league. Perhaps the Note III.

Having said that has anyone been having this issue, I wonder if it's just me or it's the phone. I don't remember having this issue with the Z10 but on the Z30 this seems to hit from time to time.

When settings is on 4G, 3G and 2G, I have data and voice available. So in order to save battery (not really needed with this phone). I tune it down to 3G and 2G, and i'm not getting any 3G data. I have also tried on 2G and same result. Is this something paratek antenna does?

Or is it the leaked OS? anyone have encountered similar?

Mine lasts for almost with heavy usage of videos, calls and browsing...for more than 15 hrs...

unplugged phone from charger at 6:30AM, music, email, text, web browsing, app downloading etc. pretty much all day until 10:30PM. Plugged phone into charger with 28% battery remaining.

What a POWER THREAD!!!

There were many people PUMPED UP!! Saying that the battery lasts 2 two days.

I unplugged my Z30 at 0600. Now we have 1815 and the Z30 has 47%.

Music, Emails, WhatsCrap (downloaded today bc of my gf , surfing the internets.

POWER HINT!!! At the first day my battery was drained very fast!!! Thanks to Crackberry, I put the "Location services" on "off"!!! That saved the battery a lot!

All I got to say is this battery is insane! I easily get through the whole day while using LTE. That includes streaming(youtube), talking, BBMing, surfing, bright screen, twitter, 3 emails plus I use rrs savvy a lot. I never really had to charge the phone at the end of the night I just do so so its full in the morning.

Not more than 8 hours on a full charge!! Fine it has only been 3 days since I did the whole procedure so perhaps let's wait until next week to see if anything changes.

I'm jealous. I'm on 10.2.0.429 and get 15 hours if I'm lucky. That's with the display all the way down and light usage. Though I do receive a lot of enterprise emails. Weird.

I can get a day and a half if I choose to not charge it at night. But I charge overnight and usually have no worries about a full day of heavy use. Almost midnight here, phone off charge at 8am, battery shows 47%. Best phone I've ever had for battery longevity!

Why am I not enjoying the same battery consumption as most of you guys? Have two emails account with push. Approximately 20+ emails a day. I got three very active what's app group. With other three moderately active what's app group. A few calls approximately 5 minutes duration for each call. You tube video streaming for about 45 minutes. Plus about 2 hours Internet browsing. And finally moderately active in Facebook n twitter. I can only last 16-17 hours only. still better than my Z10 but I anticipated to get 20-24 hours of battery usage.. sigh..

So far my Z30 is been going from 5:30 am till 10-11 PM without a charge heavy used. Emails, apps, browse and obviously calls.

I was lucky to get till 11am same usage but with a charge on my Z10.

I would say that mine ranged between 17- 30 hours depending how I use the device, but I can say for sure when I take it off the charger at 8 am, I do not need to charge it again until I go to sleep, never has it died on me in a day! This phone is a beast! My wife has note3 and it doesn't even come close! I actually leave every single setting on all the time, the only thing I limit is the screen brightness, I would say I have it set to about 33%

Got 2 days when I turned off data, usually with heavy BBM and Internet usage I get around 15-18 hours, loads more than any phone I've had before

Normally it goes from 3% to 8-9% per hour: it depends from how heavy is the use of your device.

This leads to a minimum of 11 or 12 hours of continuative use to a maximum of 33 hours of light/minimum use.

The less accounts you have (mails or especially push ones as whatsapp and BBM) the better.
