Some do, some don't. It's really trial and error. There are quite a few threads on the topic. A quick search should return loads of results. And go with the Z30, no sense in shorting yourself when it's there for the taking.

I have gotten around 18-20 hours depending on how much Bluetooth streaming I do in the car, I have to find my battery guru app and test again and post my results as well.
I'm still trying to figure out my estimate because it really depends how much I use it. But with my average use it is definitely more than double what my iPhone 4s was. With heavy use it can last me from 5am to 10pm when go to bed no problem and still have 20% left. That's pretty heavy use too. Days I don't use it as much I can push it past the 24 hour mark

This is a dream come true! True mobile computing!
Unplugged mine at 5:30am yesterday morning. Got home from work at 6:30pm, still 40%. Went to sleep at 10pm (i know thats early, was a long day lol), forgot to plug it in, was still on in the morning. Its now charging back up.
Don't want to take over this thread but how long does it charge to be full? Is it less than 8 hours?
Posted via CB10
Around 3 hours apparently
Posted via CB10
7.5 hours off the charger, and currently at 51 percent remaining. During that time I was on conference call for just under 3 hours. While one the call I was using CrackBerry and other apps all on full brightness. I have downloaded several apps and have used apps for most of the morning. I also have 4 email accounts syncing every 30 minutes. The battery keeps rocking.

My Z30 gets about 14 to 16 hours of continuous usage. I haven't let the device alone since I got it. Still in that "new phone" stage where I am playing with it constantly and learning all its features. Surely once that phase is over it will exceed 20 hours.

For those of you new to the device, keep in mind I didn't start seeing stellar battery life until about 3-4 days in. Ever since then though... wow!
Mine lasts for a day and a half. after some gaming, news reading, calls, and moderate messaging. I love my Z30.

Yeah the z30 battery life is amazing. I was concerned about upgrading because of the cost but after using the z30 for a few days im so happy i switched. Im not sure what happened with the Z10 vs the 30 but i was getting up to 11 maybe 12 hours max out of z 10 and now im getting over 24 hrs easy. Im thinking its the paratek.

Wow.i would love to have this phone.

So, it looks like the Z30 battery satisfies most owners. Did anyone have experience with other similar devices with comparable usage and the same number of email and other accounts? How does Z30 compare against let's say LG G2?

I also have a note2. From a battery perspective the note is slightly better but it has a bigger battery so that makes sense :)

I just did 23 and half hours on my 4 day old Z30. That's with using the camera, playing games, listening to music, BBM, Email and screen brightness at max. VERY good in my opinion. Very impressed.

Also OLED consumes way less power display blacks. Dark screens in general will consume less power.
Excellent point. Mine took a week until it finally started to really hold its charge for the full day.
I'm a heavy user, turning on mobile hot spot regularly and have 8 exchange mail accounts, and calls all day. I made it 1.5 days on lowest brightness to absolute dead battery on my first run. That's a 40% improvement on my z10. Extremely pleased with this phone. My q10 doesn't hold up to the z30 either! Charged it overnight last night and am doing the same thing today, waiting till it drops dead.
Running os leak 1791.

Other difference is the AMOLED screen with the black theme is suppose to use less power I believe.
Along with the better antenna the phone should have less time looking for signal which can be a power drain switching between 3G/4G/LTE etc.
1 year, give or take a day
