I used to get 2 days, now since updating my software I get just a day with the same usage have had the update about 2 weeks a lil dissapointed hope there is a fix

I am a medium to heavy business user. One Exchange and two imap emails, constant BBM and moderate Whatsapp usage plus occasional browsing.

I forgot to charge it overnight one day this week, and at 7pm it went flat. Not bad at all...

Then you must have either a problem with your phone or there is an app that is eating up your battery because imo that is VERY unusual for this phone - even my Z10 can go about 10 hours with the same usage. My Z30 lasts an average of 26 hours with moderate to heavy use, screen on full brightness, 5 email accounts (3 activesync and 2 imap), LTE & Bluetooth on, NFC off,

I am used to charging my device at night. This baby never failed me before my bed time. In fact I am a little concerned that it still has 20+% left at the end of the day so I just cranked up my brightness to maximum, hopefully it will burn through the day faster. LOL

I did an experiment with my Z10 before change networks roughly same usage and roughly and places I went to. Results was extreme. I was getting 5hrs on my Sun network and 10hrs on my Smart network. My phone on SUN keeps loosing network connection and tries to reconnect a lot. That uses more power

I haven't tried it on my Z30. But I believe I will get the same results - double my battery life

Also using 2G gets doubles battery life but internet connection is very slow

Did a little test a few weeks ago. Tuesday it was used all day, mainly browser, email, and texts. Wednesday was less browser and more calls, and Thursday was pretty light usage. I didn't avoid doing anything I normally would do, and I'm pretty sure it was all on 4G LTE the whole time (no wifi) but I was always in good coverage areas. >61 hours. Crazy.

I have Rogers and Telus both on LTE - both get the same excellent battery life - in fact it is extremely difficult to kill the battery in one day no matter how hard I try (I haven't been able to yet)

I just got a Z30 (previously used Q10). It's only been 5 hours (minimal use) and it's already down to 55% with less than 4 hours remaining. This is way worse than my Q10. I can't use a device that won't last a regular business day. I'm on 10.2.1.2141.

If you barely use it at all, such as just using the phone app, and just stay connected to WiFi or 4G I get 5 days on one charge. Heavier use seems to be around 2 days on a single charge.

Unfortunately, it's an unlocked Z30 STA100-5 and I'm on AT&T, so no LTE. Have to return it and move to Verizon.

Definitely one Hell of an amazing phone, especially with 10.2.1

Something isn't right. Post up a screen shot of your device monitor. I'm guessing "System" will show higher than 30%.

So far my Z30 has been on since 6:50am this morning and it's 7:02pm now and I still have time left. Not bad. I used to charge my Z10 at least twice during the day to last this long

Well it looks like something with BES killed the device after only being activated for 5 hours. I removed my corporate account, rebooted, then re-activated on BES. The battery has only gone down 12% in 3.5 hours.

If anyone is having extreme battery leaks look at the device monitor for PIM services. CPU should be idle at most times. Mine was hitting over 20-40% consistently.

20 hours max, if I start watching an HD series through Viki then 10 hours, or so (usually less). I have Viki Pass i.e. I watch a good number of vids streamed in 720p/HD.
