How I revived my Nuked/Bricked Blackberry Z30-STA-1002-
Hi Crackberry Devotees...Let me share my 3 day long awesome experience..
1. I sold my Z10 as the battery was not enough for heavy usage...and I bought a Blackberry Z30...I found one in Univercell Bangalore ( Basavangudi), they got one couriered for me from their Chennai office...cant believe...even SP Road/SukhSagar Mall in Majestic ( grey market) did not have single peice. ( Still haven't found the right leather flip cover for my Z30 as nobody has it, had to buy from eBay awaiting its delivery..
2. Was enjoying the BBZ30 when when I saw an update 10.2.0.429 from Vodafone UK, downloaded it from Sachesi and then my horror story began.....
3.. After the Sachesi download my BBz30 did not boot as usual...no BB hub, no SMS...and very poor performance.( mistakes I did was did not take backup and did not remove the sim during Sachesi load..
4. I decided to roll back my factory loaded 10.2.0.224...the 10.2.0.429 OS simply did not want to leave my BB...the OS version showed 10.2.0.224 but it had all the traces and bugs of 10.2.0.429 ( black address book, no sms, no bbhub) ...whatever I did it did not budge ....it took me three long days of horror without a Blackberry...
1. My Mack book pro with Win 7X64 showed a blue screen after every Sachesi update
2. USB ports misbehaved
3. Factor reset on BBZ30 takes 45 minutes
4. Removing sim/CC cleaner/reboot took 1 Hour
5. Advanced System Cleaner took 30 minutes to clean and reboot my Macbook Pro
5. Starting/stopping Antivirus was grim (I also accidentally found a solution for the Volumes not mounting on my Macbook Pro Win7 ultimate x64, the AVG Antivirus was blocking the same, Now I have to set the exception in the Antivirus)
The Solutions: After going through all the Crackberry berry forums and Adam's posts...
I finally found the solution.
1. Downloaded the Autoloader from Full OS 10.2.1.1055 autoloader for BlackBerry Z10 & Z30 | BerryUs.com
2. Removed all traces of the damned 10.2.0.429 ( please dont ever upgrade to this damned OS) wait for a better version
3. Downloaded the 10.2.0.224 from Vodafone Bangalore Service Provider ( MSC 404 86 )
4. Patiently followed Adam's steps in loading the OS How to get the OS 10.2 update right now | CrackBerry.com
5. Restored my Z10 backup..
And...now I am back with my Z30....:):D:party:
Hope this helps all who have accidentally nuked their new Z10/q10/q5 and Z30
