    No PC. I have a spare Bell sim lying around and I am on Verizon on the Z30 in US. What would happen if I just put the Bell sim in the Z30? Thoughts.

    I have the same desire and have 1925 dl'ed on my computer but could someone provide a step by step link as to how to install the leak? I am using a Mac if that matters and I was worried it may wipe my phone clean if I do figure out how to install the leak/update. Is that a legitimate concern?

    An autoloader will wipe the phone yes. If your on a Mac you won't be able to use it you need a Windows PC

    Yes it would work. You just have to make sure that the radio bands are the same and unfortunately I don't think that verison and bell use the same radio frequency but you should double check that cause if they do you can get the update just fine

    So here is my thought. I go into airplane mode, take out my Verizon sim, I then slip in my Bell sim and get on wifi and check for the update. Any thoughts? Will this work? It is hard as hell to remove my back cover. Would love to know if this will work.

    No. Verizon BlackBerry do not work for the SIM swap trick.

    Look at all the Z10 people with STL100-4 who tried. Doesn't work. Won't show an update until Verizon pushes it.
