    Hi:
    I have a BlackBerry Z30
    - Model STA100-5
    - Software Rel.10.2.1.537
    - Unlocked.
    - I use a Net10 plan.

Problem: I can't enter the APN settings: the APN field is locked and it says "phone".
    The Save Button is disabled.
Consequently, I don't have data connection unless I connect to wi-fi.
I know the Net10 settings but I can't update the APN.

I have used the same Net10 plan on iPhone5, Nokia 920, and HTC One and I never had a problem updating the APN with those phones.

    Can you help?

    Thanks!

The Z30 should pick up the APN settings from the SIM card!

So this is a Net10's SIM card issue, not a Z30 issue, correct?
    Thanks.

Either the escreens or better yet, use the backdoor Once on the APN screen with the locked APN field, bring up the keyboard (2 finger swipe up from the bottom) and type: a p n

I unlocked the APN screen following your instructions, typed "tfdata", leaving user and password blank and I was able to activate data on the Z30.
The connection is super slow but at least I have something.
    Your help is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you all.
