Hi all. In the previous BlackBerry Torch (OS 7) I used to clean up the memory regularly. The question is, how to do the same for BlackBerry Z30? Anyone know?

Device Monitor can allow you to close certain apps... though usually it is System & PIM that begin to consume more memory.

Also a reboot every now and then clears up some memory too.

You don't really need to clean up memory in BlackBerry 10. The OS is very efficient on doing it by itself.

My Z10 always sits around 500MB of free memory when apps are all closed.

If you so however have some issue, just reboot the phone.

Use the up/down volume buttons pressed simultaneously for several seconds method of rebooting.

Rebooting normally reboots the OS, which is sufficient for memory, but the volume keys do a hardware reset equivalent to removing the battery.

Rockin with my Passport and Z30!
