Hope someone can help me out with this

My contract was due for renewal with EE, I have been a z10 user for a couple of years and really fancied keeping it the same for an upgrade so was happy to go for a Z30, turns out they don't stock them and wanted to push a Iphone on me. Being the stubborn git I am I searched round and found a shop that did them with a good deal on an upgrade, sweet! Or so I thought..

The problem now is trying to get all the stuff off my Z10 to the Z30 I've got some of the pics and I think all the contacts over but anything like email settings, text messages or emails themselves will not carry over. When I use link to transfer it goes so far and says 'the device has been disconnected'

Reading round the net I am pretty sure the problems are the OS -

Z10 - 10.3.1.1.565
Z30 - 10.2.1.3062

Updating the z30 it tells me that's the latest version.

All I would really like to do is transfer the texts across, emails not so bad as I can access them on the desktop etc

If you are will to risk some potential bugs, you can find the autoloader for 10.3.1.newest!!! on the Crackberry OS Leak subforum.

Be aware that one of the bugs seems to turn off the screen in a more or less permanent fashion. BB is looking at it but it remains an issue.

Hi thanks for the reply, I am going to give this a try and see what happens. It does appear to be restoring it, but to what extent I don't know
