    Doesn't matter what OS>
hold down any app and after a second or two they will all start blinking.
you can then move them or put one on top of another and make a folder.

You need an app to arrange blank spaces. I forgot the name.

I don't understand why icon placement is relegated to a forced grid pattern on BB10... why not allow free placement of app icons anywhere on the screen.. as it is, BB10 reminds me of Windows 3.11...

See your point. Then again iOS & Android are no different. I'm not sure about Windows Phone as I do not own one.

Home Screen Plus, formerly Wallpaper Changer HD, has the ability to create blank icons to give the appearance of oddly spaced icons or blank home screens.
However, that function does require 10.3 OS.

Very kind, thank you. But there are still lots of people like me who have not & will not install leaks. So we have perhaps many months still to wait to be able to this.

Yes. There appears to be non available for those of us (perhaps still a majority?) who are not yet on 10.3.

I'm thinking it's due to the API's needed to make a blank icon are not in the 10.2 and under OS's.

Agreed. That's probably it. So it becomes a matter of installing a leak of 10.3 (more work, sometimes causes problems) or waiting for the official update (easy, but will be a long wait).

Thanks for the tip. Found "Gap Creator Icon Organiser." Is that it?
One thing about BlackBerry World that is pretty standard elsewhere: Apps do not tell you system requirements up front. So is this app also only for 10.3.x?
