Hi everyone

I just got the seidio dilex holster made for the galaxy s5 and it fits my Z30 with a bumper!!!

The dilex holster is a little loose but I erred on the side of going too big than not being able to fit the Z30 into the holster.

Seidio also makes a surface holster for the galaxy s5 that may fit better but I have not tried it.

Now all I have to do is stick a magnet somewhere in the holster and it will be working perfectly!!!

The Z30 is about the same dimensions as the galaxy s5 but the Z30 is thicker.

So without a case, another holster made for a naked galaxy s5 may not fit the Z30.

Sorry I don't have the dims on the galaxy s5. I went to the Verizon store and compared phones until I found something close.

I'm sure you could Google each phone and find the their dims. They are nearly identical except for thickness.

skm67: Thank you very much for this information!! For what it's worth, I was able to pair the Galaxy S5 Pt Platinum holster (equivalent to the Seidio Surface holster) with the Z30 Amzer TPU case. It is a perfect fit (see the pictures)! I also took a few pictures with the Amzer bumper case ... but I think the bumper case may be a bit too big for the Platinum/Surface holster. I also ordered a Dilex holster per your recommendation ... so I should be covered. Thank you again!

I've been thinking about getting the surface holster, I've had a few instances where my z30 has fallen out of the dilex holster. Good to know that it is a good fit!

I want to you both! One of the huge hold backs I've had in getting a Z30, has been giving up my surface case/holster I've been using with my Z10. This I can live with!

The only thing I had to do was take the magnet from my old BlackBerry Storm holster and insert it inside the new holster. This meant peeling back the felt lining and positioning the magnet near the center of the holster. The felt lining was still sticky enough to re-stick it to the holster, which then held the magnet in place securely.

Get yourself some very fine grit sandpaper and a magic eraser. Use these to sand off the glossy and shiny finish in the bumper. That's what I did and it looks so much better. The shiny just looks terrible.

I like the bumper idea, especially with the Seidio holster. Not sure about the material though. Haven't searched, does someone make a TPU bumper?

So I was intrigued with the Amzer bumper case solution. I did drop my phone in the kitchen the day it arrived and it was not on the phone yet. Yikes. Everything OK though. Don't want the holster to go with it at this point. Attached are some pics. The noise cancellation holes are covered by the bumper. Have made a couple of calls with no issues. Phone looks great and the extra protection gives me a little more peace of mind. I have the original screen cover that came on the phone. Been on just over a week. The sides aren't so glossy that it bothers me at all.

Any reason to be concerned that the holes are covered? Time will tell I suppose.

PS - That Amzer tab will definitely have to go. Mucks up the whole look.
