I just bought a Z30 from Verizon. Free activation and $100 for a Z30 is too good to pass up. Got my wife a Q10 as well. It was a good experience other than the phone is sold out in the entire Orlando area and I am getting free 2nd day shipping, so it will be here Monday.

I'm still using my Curve 8330 running OS 4.5 and want to migrate as much as I can. Obviously, apps are out, but what about everything else like pictures, memos, contacts, etc. I am download BlackBerry Link as I post and will back up the phone to that. What next?

Another question is whether or not 10.2.1 rolled out for all Verizon users?

Thanks for the help. I've been a long time reader, first time poster.

At the very least, you can mount your old BlackBerry as a removable drive for all your photos etc and copy them over later. Your contacts can be synced via Google Gmail. I have not much experience with Link and transfer since mine only worked on my desktop for a week back Feb 2012.

I have all the photos downloaded already and the phone backed up with Desktop Manager. I'm concerned about contacts and especially memos.

I'm also concerned because the instructions BB gives mentions OS 5.0 or higher and I'm running 4.5.
