Since I got the 10.2.1.2941 update on my BlackBerry z30, I have been having some lag issues.

When opening apps..it lags sometimes..

When swiping up from the bezel to put an app on the home screen..it lags sometimes

When swiping left or right on the home screen..it lags sometimes.

Before updating I didn't have any of these issues..It was more fluid.

I don't know why I am having these problems after the update when so many people are saying that the OS is more fluid.

I even did a 'security wipe' but the lag is still there on those 3 instances.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your lag issues. How long has it been since you updated the OS? Depending on the number of contacts you have and how many apps, email accounts and other sources you have interfacing with the Hub, it could take as much as several hours for the phone to get everything synced up following a fresh install.

1. Its been 2 weeks since I have updated. (no battery drain issues). Actually tried to do a security wipe a week ago to see if that would fix it but same exact issue happening.

2. Only 1 Gmail account and a twitter account.

I noticed that too..
With the latest update the animations become faster but this has a consequence in the flow.
Now I see more often loosing frames and choppy behaviour..

yeah sometimes i'm experiencing that too, along with some minor silly issues which could force me to manually reboot the phone. like yesterday, i was on call when my dad called me (he was on the waiting line), for some reason i couldn't end the call i was into, then suddenly the phone app froze, then continued with the Hub freezing (but i still could receive notifications - so weird), then i got no choice rather than to reboot the phone and everything went back to normal in less than 5 mins.

i think it's just the way 10.2.1.2941 behaves here.. can't wait to meet 10.3, can't wait! or hopefully, another 10.2.1/10.2.2 MR maybe before jumping to 10.3.. hopefully it will repatch the issues like this.. but overall 10.2.1.2941 is a great step forward, still..

I am having similar issues with the Hub. When I get an email/message I swipe to see it in the hub and for few long seconds its space is empty until it magically appears. Sometimes after an idle time you see the emails/messages but cannot click on any (unresponsive).

This is frustrating.

Update os, I had the same issue with that one. Z30STA100-5/10.2.1.3247 seems better so far.

Having same problems on Q10 and Q5 plus extreme lags when typing.

And with net 10.3.1052 OS lag hasn't gone... sometimes so smooth, so fast, and sometimes looks like an SAMSUNG STAR.. :/
