1st Question:
Has anyone succeeded in getting wi-fi calling to work on the Z30 running on TMo network?
2nd Question:
If you got it working, how'd you get it to work?

OK, I have the OS 10.2.1.228 installed and with the correct radio bar file loaded on my STA 100-5 white Z30..
Everything runs fine except wi-fi calling.
The home screen has the TMo Wi-Fi calling app. But when I open it, it shows "error". No hint as to what the error is.

I call TMo tech support. They say the cannot help. But did confirm it has nothing to do with the serial number of the phone being listed in their system.

In looking at the OS bar files in the download I installed, the file that likely controls wifi is listed in the download as Tmowificallingsettings-10.1.1.127-NTO+armle-v7+signed.bar
If you succeeded in getting your install to run wi-fi, where did you get the download, did you modify it, etc. Guidance would be appreciated.

I downloaded the wifi calling bar but it does nothing. It says "on" and is grayed out but doesn't give me the symbol up top.

It's not supported by tmobile(z30).

I had all of the same problems right after I updated my Z10 with the OTA update. I was about to call for help, but I followed these steps and everything is now working fine. I hope they work for your Z30.

First, I got the T-Mo wifi app from BlackBerry World (yeah, the one with a 1.5 star rating). You can find it in the T-Mo section of the store. If you have the wifi app already downloaded on your phone, delete it and re-download.

2. Launch the app and activate the "wifi preferred" option. It then gave me a message to connect to a wifi router. The trick was that, even though the wifi was connected, wifi calling wouldn't work until I totally deleted my saved wifi connection and re-entered it from scratch.

3. At this point, the wifi app connected and worked like a charm.
