Lol. FYI, the STA100-2 won't get you better than HSPA+ in Canada (unless you're a Bell or Rogers customers in one of their LTE 2600 areas.)
I dont understand. Im with Rogers....
It shod work if its unlocked?

It will work, yes, but you have to also look at what radio bands it has. The STA100-2 has Rogers' 3G/HSPA+ bands (5 and 2.) But Rogers has two LTE bands: 1700 (band 4) and 2600 (band 7.) The STA100-2 does not have band 4, but it does have band 7. So you want LTE and are in band 7 areas/cities, you will get LTE. If not, you will get 3G/HSPA+.

More than a little envious here in Canada. Thanks for sharing the screen shots.
I can see from the box pictures at the top of the thread that this is listed as "Middle East" model (STA100-2)

    BlackBerry Z30 smartphone STA100-2:
    • Quad band FD-LTE (1, 3, 7, 8, 20) + MIMO
    • Quad band UMTS/HSPA+ (1, 2, 5/6, 8)
    • Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE

There is a great easy-reading write up on the various models over at BerryReview :
BlackBerry Z30 Coming in Six Models To Support Different Carrier Bands (STA100-X) - BerryReview
Actually that link's information may not be correct. A couple of official manuals came out today (-2 and -5,) and the -2 does not have a documented LTE band 1.

Yes - that correct. I was surprised too.

This is the data I received for the STL 100-2. I assume the numbers af ther SKU number refers to frequency bands:

    SKU1 (1,2,5/6) All models
    2100mHz
    1900mHz
    800/850mHz

    SKU2 1,4,8
    All models
    2100mHz
    1700mHz
    900mHz

I have no idea if the hardware is identical, but "limited" due to a factory setting or they have different hardware.
For Denmark we have SKU1. I was informed that in this particular case the SKU2 was from UK.
Interesting. These actually don't look like BB10 band sets, but older (OS7 and prior) devices' band sets. They used to come in 1,2,5/6 and 1,4,8 combinations. According to the English (and Danish!) STL100-2 manual, SKU1 is almost correct, except instead of 1900, it has a UMTS 900 band, and SKU2 doesn't exist.

If you have is it/does it look relatively easy to remove and replace the battery?

Sprry pttptppt, my message got lost at end of last page, since you have opened it yourself was the battery soldered on, or could you remove it after removing the cover?

On my X00 version, I could remove it, but it took slight force. If it's like this on official version, then it'll be removable

Either the -3 or the -1, maaaybe the -4. I can't tell you which ONE yet, because the only ones that have been announced so far are the -2 and the -5. -4 will most likely end up being the CDMA one, that may or may not work on Rogers.

I'd be curious to see results for a production device, but I can say mine has production hardware, so only diff would be OS.
