From a purely technical standpoint, I don't see why not. The STA100-4 is a CDMA variant with US bands, and almost all the other variants are compatible with US carrier networks to different degrees.

Oh, yeah, but that doesn't mean you don't get the option to play videos. Even if the Z10 looks better, both are 720p.
