    Why would u want Google keyboard on a blackberry device?? The BlackBerry 10 keyboard is the best touch screen keyboard I have ever used. Beats both the iPhone and Android keyboards into oblivion.

    I do personally tend to agree with both of the above, but let's not all pile on the OP please.. she wants the google keyboard, why isn't our concern.. let's keep the thread on topic !

    Agreed. However, with Instagram BB keyboard doesn't work. Following this post

    Here's how to fix the keyboard for Instagram on BlackBerry 10 | CrackBerry.com.

    Google keyboard should solve the issue. But the keyboard is unstable on Z30. It crashes. I also don't want to be writing a message on my notepad and posting it on instagram. This prevents addressing specific individual in the comments..

    Actually with the newest unlocked runtime the keyboard does work. I can comment without issue so no Google keyboard needed.

    My one and only attempt at installing unlocked runtime resulted in near meltdown of my phone. Basically killed all my Android apps. Had to do security wipe, find the original runtime hat wasn't unlocked and re-installation of all Android apps again. I am a bit hesitant to install unlocked runtime.

    In any case, are you using unlocked runtime for Z30 or Z10? I've noticed that with the launch of Z30 we have a fragmented system with touch phones. Rules of Z10 don't seem to apply to Z30.

    I'm using the unlocked runtime on my Z30

    Process was to uninstall my sideloades then install the runtime reboot then re install the sideloads

    Did you reboot after sideloading the two .bar files from the unlocked runtime? I can ensure you the runtime works perfectly.
