Its been two months since i got my new Z30 and a few annoying glitches have kicked-in.
I didn't expect this from this BlackBerry when i bought it. some make it look ridiculous.

    1. The contacts - are on and off

    2. Whatsapp - doesn't work from the Hub sometimes. Have to restart the phone.

    3. Incoming Calls - the screen doesn't respond sometimes when a call comes in. No way to answer or reject it! will have to wait for it to end.

    4. the latest and most ridiculous of em. just take a look at these screenshots

    some others not worth mentioning...

This almost never happens to me but mostly when it does it's when running android apps together with other programs. Typicly when something goes wrong so you have to change it and typicly when using gps-based aps like my taxi app maps etc. a tip is to push the top-button ones the reswipe your phone - this solves most cases for me anyway

When a computer for Dell, HP, innova or whoever else fails or glitches what do you do? Reload the operating system. You cant blame the manufacture or MS.

I had this same problem actually all of them on a lower version of 10.2.1. I can't remember which one it was though. I suggest updating to another higher official you can check the leaked os section of the forums. And before you say you don't install leaks. The leaked operating systems as of late are actually carrier official just maybe not from your carrier.

    Good luck though.

    This^^^

It does take sometime to do, but it's simple and not much more than an 1 or 2 hours (altho' I've never had to on my Z30 - only on my Z10).

The screen pix remind me of some blips I get with the odd Android apps. Sometimes they correct themselves and sometimes not. As to whether this can adversely effect actual BB apps, I'm not sure.

The screen stretch has happened to me before after using an Android app -- I'm don't remember which one, but this is back before 10.2.1. Haven't had an issue since the latest update.

I have had that a bunch of times just restart your phone and it goes away.

Has only happened once on 10.2.1 though.

OP, any and all phones, BB or not can and will get a "glitch" periodically. After several months of Z30 use I've not experienced any of the issues you posted except for the screen stretch, which happened with an active android app. I no longer have any android apps on my phone and have not had a recurrence since. Not sure which app it was but other posters have associated this with a running android app as well, maybe one remembers which was the culprit.

When it or the other problems happen again, try a hard reboot to see if it helps, not a softboot/restart as mentioned in a post above. Press and hold down the (+) and (-) volume keys simultaneously, continue to hold thru the screen shot notification, holding until the screen goes black and release. This is similar to a battery pull, unlike the other method which is just a restart, which doesn't immediately shut the phone down but allows a normal shutdown as indicated by the shutdown timer displaying and notice of powering down. This allows corrupt files or "glitches" to be saved during the normal shutdown process, whereas the hard reset doesn't allow saving of most recent processes or data since power is removed immediately, as in a battery pull. Worth trying before an OS reload.

So, you don't have any Android apps installed!?

I only download from BlackBerry World. As you can see, I was running Tune-in Radio and Docs-to-go at that time.

I'm running 10.2.1.2102. No, I didn't drop my phone. A regular restart does the trick. Never tried a hard reset. Will try though.
Is 10.3 leaked out? I'd rather get that installed than any other 10.2.1 leak.

I suggest you install this OS Z30STA100-5/10.2.1.2947. Had zero problems on it.

10.3 is leaked but no z30 radio which means no data or calls.

I actually just had the stretch problem it when I clicked on the main search. There is obviously an issue and it is not related to Android apps. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Yet for several years and 6 iOS devices that I manage in my household, I've never had to reload the OS, nor do a wipe(if that's even possible), and I've only had to reboot twice. Though I do keep everything up to date, and each iOS update does seem to clean everything up.
