Hi guys, I am from India and I have a Z10. I am very happy with the phone but unfortunately mine has got the battery calibration issue which is very common in Z10. It shows the wrong percentage of the battery. So I want to buy a new Z30. Does it also have the similar problem in general? What are other problems associated with Z30 that are very common?

The Z30 is one of the overall best BB10 devices.
I have had mine for over a year now and no issues with batteries at all.
Great all around phone - a sure upgrade from a Z10 (I also have one).

For me the only issue with Z30 is the screen white balance i.e, dull. This is due to super amoled screen. Coming from Z10 you might notice it even more. Don't get me wrong. Z30 is a beast.

Z30's overall performances widely compensate : battery is great, cpu is great and so is ram management and running Android apps ; you'll just love the beast !

I made for switch from the Z10 to the Z30 last summer and can say it's absolutely a great upgrade from the Z10. The Z10 still has a brighter screen, but darks are much richer on the Z30; It's really a non issue once you get used to it.
Bigger Screen, MUCH better battery(12-14 hours with medium use), Better Speakers the list goes on and on ...Z30 is just an easy decision. You'll be happy.

It's a great phone. Been using it for almost 6 months.
If you do decide to buy it though, make sure you check your city's 4G band and check which version of the phone will support it.
Indian telecom providers are launching 4G services on different bands in different cities.

Z30 over Z10 any day of the week! The Z10, is the smaller brother, in all aspects. Battery life, speed, screen size...Z30 is the best BB Os10 device to date!!!

Z30 sure is the best touch phone from BlackBerry. used all previous version like OS 5 & 7, this phone is absolute addiction and superb by all means..Go for it Sure!!

Concerning Arnavrs's city band mention, there's a free and very tiny utility in BlackBerry World called "Signal", that helps you figure out which ones your BlackBerry uses.
But I guess that'll be useless until you grab the device ; well, there's been a post on the forums listing all the bands. I don't remember the link but I'm pretty sure it's still there.

Go for the Z 30 without a thought.. it is a beauty and a beast at the same time.. it is the best BlackBerry phone till date. Only thing lacking to a certain extent for me is that the camera is not top notch but doable

It's been a good 2 years with my trusty zed10. However, i've been bitten by the upgrade itch. I'm considering either a Leap or Zed30.

1.Does the Zed30 have the "it get very warm" issue of the zed10?
2. Won't it have issues using a 128mb card?
3. Many have said that the Leap is optimised for OS 10.3, considering that the zed30 isn't, any issues there?

The Z30 does get a little warm with extended use but I wouldn't say that it gets very warm.

I have the 128GB card in the phone and it works great! It does need to be properly formatted before use though.

Had my Verizon model Z30 since Jan 2014. Battery health is 92% which is great since I've been a heavy user for a year and half. I highly recommend this phone. Have access to and tried my husband's Kyocera Brigadier, son's IPhone, son in law's Samsung S5 and nothing is better all around than my Z30.
