So, I've had BB Storm, Bold, Tour, Q10 and now Z30 (although I did take about 6 months into Droid-ville between the Q10 and the Z30).
I work with computers (both PC and Mac) and industrial computerized controls on a daily basis but have been thoroughly spanked attempting to find out how to use Sachesi and Snap.
I've followed at least a half dozen Crackberry tutorials and been defeated by all except the one showing how to install the Amazon App Store.
Is it really all that complicated? (or, worse, am I really that challenged? Time to go back to a dumb phone perhaps.)
My Verizon Z30 is running software release 10.2.1.2991.

May I ask why you haven't tried to update to a newer OS?

Snap has to be SIDELOADED. It can be done either through Sachesi or Chrome (with app manager plug in, installed). Sachesi is probably easier since it does not need ip addresses and developer mode enabled. BAR downloade to computer. Drag into either of those PROGRAMS on computer!

I have found the easiest way for me to side load Snap has been to use the DDPB installer. Super easy and takes less than a minute after you download DDPB and the latest Snap .BAR file.

Use Darcy's Tools. Just click on installer tab, drag the snap bar file to the small box, plug in your phone to your computer and let it log in. Enter your password at the bottom if you use one and hit log in. Then just click install bar file and your done.

Depending on the Droid apps you want. It may be a heck of a lot easier to use an autoloader, upgrade the 10.3. Something so the amazon store is pre-installed

I use it for a few apps as I can't find any good time/expense managers in BlackBerry world.

Sachesi seems pretty straight forward for me as I don't need to fiddle with my phone and switch to development mode etc. Just run Sachesi, download the snap bar file, click the install tab on Sachesi, click install folder/file and look for the downloaded file. I used DDPB before, but this method is easier
