Anyone please help me I forgot my device password and BlackBerry Link asked to enter device password before it can connect. Without the password BlackBerry Link won't connect to my Z30. What should I do?

do you ahve BB Protect setup on the phone. I think you can change it via protect without wiping. Otherwise you are probably SOL and will wipe the device on the 10th try

I don't have protect, so I'm in a deep sh*t I guess. Haha. But to unlock, I still can use picture password, no need device password. This is for connecting to BlackBerry Link

You need your device password for Link.

Yeah you're in deep s***. You should backup your stuff (manually without link) and wipe your phone! Or else you might lose everything!

Just in case for those not aware with BlackBerry 10 Security, if u forget your picture password you will be prompted for your device password after x amounts of attempts on picture password.
If you screw up device password x amount of times it's game over. All data goes bye bye.

Either locate your password or, after 10 attempts, you phone will be wiped.
